My last track meet was fun. I ran an 8 minute 45 second mile. Isn't that pretty good????
I thought so. My dad is taking me out to ice cream this week, so that's kind of cool and because I have been doing these shots, my mom and dad are taking me out to the Broadmoor for dinner. I am so excited!

Your run time is great! I can tell you are really proud of yourself, and glad that you can take pride in your achievement. Only about 10 kids out of all the 4th and 5th graders in all of the school competing in the meet chose to do the mile, and you were one of them. Brave choice. Awesome performance.
