Shwayder on July 13th~ Absense from Blog

Alright, alright, alright.
Let's see.

Oh, yes, right.
Shwayder. Shwayder is as I have told you, a sleepaway summer camp.
I will be going to Shwayder on July 13th and will not be back for the 2 weeks following that.
India will be going too, so we will both be taking a two week break from writing on our blogs.
Please do not get mad if you are reading my blog, and you have not read this post.

I will also give a reminder before I go to camp, so I can notify my readers. Thanks!

Hotel for Dogs

Here is a good movie for the whole family. Hotel for Dogs. I know, sounds way too stupid to even watch but is really good. It is about these two foster kids, siblings, who are in jeapordy of getting split up, and they are on a mission to rescue stray dogs. It is a great movie that you should consider for the whole family, especially if you are a dog lover. Some of the main stars include Jake T. Austin and Emma Roberts. The film is rated PG for brief mild thematic elements, language, and some crude humor. It is funny but sad. It is a film where you can bark out loud!
~ That was a really corny joke!

India

Hey guys, my sister India has started her own blog!
She is 8 years old and very enjoyable, as am I, so please read her blog as well.
It is titled:
GenoBoy Grows On.
She is not taking the growth hormone shots and she is not a boy, but it is funny!
You can reach it by going to:

Thank you for supporting, and now supporting my sister!

Water World

Mom and Dad are thinking about, for next year, letting me have my birthday party in the summer with friends, 3 or less, at Water World. I have only been there once, but I already love it, even though I haven't been on anything. Go to Water World in like July and than have a personal family birthday dinner on, or near my birthday. Cool idea, right? I like it!

Michael Jackson's Thriller and Moonwalk

Wanna see a video? Yes, that is what I wanted to hear. Wait, you said no? Well, too bad! Sometimes you just have to enforce, not ask.

OK, here is a really cool video that I got off of YouTube of Michael Jackson doing the moonwalk. I also watched Michael Jackson's Thriller video, which I watched too, and I thought that they were both so cool, why not, you know?

Below is Michael Jackson doing the moonwalk, but I am having trouble trying to save and upload this video, so below is the URL so you can watch the video of Michael Jackson singing Billie Jean dancing and doing the moonwalk near the end, but don't fastfoward because you might miss other awesome dance moves as well!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SlWIaYkFI4

Same rules apply for this video as well! This is Michael Jackson's music video for Thriller!

So, there you are!!

Birthdays

My birthday is on February 6th.
India's birthday is on March 1st.
My mom's birthday is on July 28th.
My dad's birthday is on June 27.

Why am I mentioning this? I don't know! But it was my dad, John's birthday a couple days ago, on Saturday, June 27, to be exact. So, happy birthday Daddy!

If anyone else would like me to mention their birthday ( year is optional ) on my blog, please tell me your birthday and your name in the comments section so I can give a shout-out to you on or near your birthday as well! The more the merrier, and happy birthday to all!

A Paragraph or Two....

Here is part of an article I partly read on Michael Jackson's death, if you care!
Here is the URL for the website I got it from:
http://www.popeater.com/music/article/michael-jackson-cardiac-arrest/544453?sem=1&ncid=AOLMUS00170000000048&otim=1245982785&spid=33887046

Here is the part I wanted to show you. There were plenty of interesting parts, but this is from the right beginning:

Michael Jackson, the charismatic musician who came to be known as The "King of Pop,' has died at the age of 50.
Michael's brother Jermaine, during a brief statement at the hospital, said the following: "My brother, the legendary King of Pop Michael Jackson, passed away on Thursday, June 25 at 2:26 pm. It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of an autopsy are known. His personal p hysician who was with him at the time attempted to resuscitate my brother, as did the the paramedics transported him to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Upon arriving at the hospital at approximately 1:14pm, a team of doctors including emergency physicians and cardiologists attempted to resuscitate him for a period of more than one hour, and were unsuccessful. My family requests that the media please respect our privacy during this tough time, and may all love be with you, Michael, always."

Events of Thursday, June 25,2009

I heard today, but I confirmed what I heard when I saw it on the internet, and my mom heard it on the radio, Michael Jackson is DEAD! I heard that he died of a heart failure or a heart attack or something at the age of 50. I think he lived the live, but that is just my perspective, because I am not famous! My mom says that she felt sorry for him, and thinks it would be weird if you were famous from the age you are 5 and you are in a band when you are in Kindergarden. What did you think of the 'King of Pop'? What do you have to say about the legend? Comment!

I think Michael Jackson is really cool, and I am sad that he is now dead.

Also, it is my mom and dad's anniversary. They have been married 14 years. So, happy anniversary Mom and Dad! I love you both so much.

Today India and I went to Pirates Cove. It was fun. There was a diving board, and a pool, and three water slides, and this like water jungle gym sort of thing, and a lazy river. It was fun, but it was worse than Water World. We should have gone to Pirates Cove first. That would have made me appreciate it more!

That is it for now. Please read and comment!
Over and Out.

Enjoyment

I am signing out for the night right now. I hope you are enjoying the entries on my blog, and have enjoyed looking at my many pictures. I will continue to post, comment, respond, and share my thoughts on my blog with you and everyone else that reads my blog.

Thanks!
Over and Out.

Pirates Cove

Tomorrow I will be going to Pirates Cove up in Denver. It is supposed to be like a minature Water World, but I have no idea. Anyone ever heard about it or been? If so, please share your experience, or what you have heard. Thanks. I will tell you all about it tomorrow!

Shot Update

Shot hurt a lot last night, but after about 2-3 minutes, my leg stopped hurting. The day before that it bled, and the blood was really dark red. Anyone know why, because I have no idea. But, we did do my shot, closer up near your hip on my thigh than more down by the knee, where we usually do it. Anyway, besides, everything is going well, and the results are looking good!

I have a Question

What would you guys prefer, for my avid readers, and for my once in a while visitors. Would you rather me write like twice a week, or like 10 posts all at the same time for about a week and a half, and then I write some more? Which would you like better? I would like to know.
Thanks!

India and I

Here is a great picture of my sister and I, who knows where. That is a good picture, isn't it?

picture of me in Denali National Park, Alaska

This is such a weird picture of me, but that is ok. This is a picture of me when I was camping in Denali National Park in Alaska. I look sort of weird in this picture, but no, I am not fat, not even chubby, do not even think about it! Scroll down, my jacket is out weird and my pockets are full. OK, now that you believe me, I'm good, right?

I am having trouble commenting

I am having trouble commenting to Beth, cousin's Gabe's wife.

Natasha and Hana

This is a picture of my friend Hana and I at India's birthday party. I am obviously not wrapped, but Hana is. That was a great birthday party with an amazingly amazing sister, and a really funky friend.

India and Hunter

This is a picture of India at her 8th birthday party in March. She had a DJ for her birthday, and this was just a silly game where you pair up and wrap your partner in toilet paper. India is, here pictured with her friend Hunter. India is the one wrapped up. Nice look, right?

Yo Yo Yo

This is a picture of me, my cousins, Sadie and Dahlia, and my sister India when we were at Mountain Challet in Colorado Springs one day. We are wearing Life Is Good hats, and acting silly. Need to let it out sometimes, you know?

Museum Sculpture

I got this picture over email from my grandmother from a museum. I forget which museum, but I love this picture. Cool, right?

Arielle

This is a very cute picture of one of my cousins named Arielle. She is so sweet, and nice, and lives in California. I was very lucky to spend time with her and her sister and dad recently.

PPLD Teen Summer Reading Challenge

PPLD Teen Summer Reading Challenge ( TSRC).
PPLD= Pikes Peak Library District.
The TSRC is for kids going into grades 4-12. You get a prize for every 2 books you read. When you read 10 whole chapter books, you get a Read t-shirt, and guess who got a Read t-shirt?
ME!!! Of course! It says Read in all different languages on the front, and then it has the sponsors of the TSRC on the back with pictures of the sponsors logos and everything. It is a really cool shirt. I really like it. If I take a picture of it or something any time soon, I will put it up.
Thanks for reading my blog and remember to comment!

YMCA Fantastic Field Trips Days 1 and 2

Hey guys. Today was a pretty eventful day. Wanna hear? Well, if you don't then too bad.
I am in the YMCA summer camp program. They have a few camps you can choose to go to, and India and I have gotten the amazing choice of going to Fantastic Field Trips, which is what it sounds like! You go on field trips the whole week, except for Monday which is orientation. So, the camp my sister and I are in is called Splish Splish Splash, which sounds like water, and is related to water in every way. Can you guess where I went? Well, if you guessed it right, great, if you didn't, sorry, and if you didn't guess at all and just kept reading, you are very smart.
I went to WaterWorld. Do you know what that is? It is this big huge theme park, where you get soaked. It is all about water. There isn't a ride there that doesn't associate with water! I had so much fun. It was my first time, and my sister and I had so much fun, and are dying to go back! Have you ever been there? If so, let me know, and tell me what you think!
I got a sunburn, but because I had lots of fun, my sunburn isn't as bad, or it doesn't seem as bad because I know that I had fun. Also, just a tip. I went as a big group, but go with as little of a group as possible, but I would suggest at least going in pairs. It is more fun, because it isn't this whole pack, but you are not alone! Two heads are better than one, but that isn't the best closing for this post, so.......... anyway, have the rest of your summer, or your work, or whatever you are doing or planning to be doing be fun, and I hope you are healthy, and everything is all and well!

Here is a picture of my cousin Jacob, who is 14, I think, either 14 or 15. He is Hannah's brother.
Here is a picture of my cousin Hannah ( in the green bandana) and her best friend Taylor. Hannah is 16, I think, getting ready to turn 17.

I just thought I would add this in because it is a really cute picture of my sister India a few years ago, actually at my cousin Hannah, Bat Mitzvah!

Here is another picture of my cousins, Sadie and Dahlia, but they are much cleaner here!
This is a picture of my cousins covered in stamps. Sadie, my cousin who is starting the Genotropin shots, like me, is the one on the right. Dahlia is my other cousin. Dahlia is 5, turning 6 very soon, and Sadie is 7, turning 8 very soon as well.

This is another picture of my dad with my sister, India. This was before she cut her hair. This is at Jacob's Bar Mitzvah party as well. I really like this picture, but because of the lighting, India's hair looks even lighter than usual. My sister and my dad both look good in this picture!

I think this is sort of funny, because my mom is not cut off, but my dad is. This picture was taken at my cousin, Jacob's Bar Mitzvah ( a ceremony you have when you are 13 if you are Jewish) party. My mom is right now on an internship training to become a psychologist, and then she will be training to become a yoga teacher. She is pretty busy, but in a good way!

John, my dad

Here is a good picture of my dad, but my mom is a bit cut-off. We will have a better picture of her later. This is a picture of my dad. His name is John, and at the moment, he is traveling, which he does a lot, so I don't get to see him a lot, but I guess that is OK. I don't know where this picture was taken, besides that it was taken on the beach!

17 Again Review

I just went to see 17 Again. It was suprisingly, an amazing movie.
It was really funny, and it was better than expected, and than other movies that I have seen with the same sort of plot. It was sort of a classic, but they were so many funny things and everything. I would, but really recommend to see it, but it is rated PG-13.

Again, if you have seen this movie, please leave a review for me and tell me what you thought about it because you have already heard me!
This is Robert or Robby. She was hissing at everyone so we decided to give her away. We gave her away to a soldier who had a cat for 11 years, and he seemed really nice. She has been gone for about a month or so, but our house is much more peaceful without her. She is so sweet but she is meant to be an only cat, and that didn't really work out for us.

This is Daffnee, or Daphnee, or however you want to spell it, because I am not sure on how to spell it. But she is so cute, and very light. She is orange, and very cuddly just like all of our cats. She doesn't hiss at anyone and loves to carry things in her mouth. She will carry the most random things like socks in her mouth She will also lick you if you put out your hand. Funny, right?

This is Dexter. He is such a sweetie, but he has a bit of a problem or whatever, and we were going to give him away, but decided not to because we are giving him a loving home and it would probably be hard to find a really good loving family to take care of him.

Eloise

This is one of my cats named Eloise, nickname Lulu. She is sitting in a reusable Whole Foods bag. She is so cute, and I love her to death. She has such a cute tail too. She is a part siamese, and her tail is curled or something. This is just one of my four cats.

That is my sister India right there. That color in her hair was for crazy hair day in her class, and it is temporary spray. Don't worry, if you were worried at all. It is not permanaent. She is holding a balloon that she will give me after the ceremony, and somehow she got it from my mom who was holding the balloon along with some flowers.

I really like this picture. I took it in front of a mirror, so there is a picture of me. I will be adding pictures of me at my graduation, or with my family, or just recent pictures of me now, so you can see me in my daily life and things that I do all the time, well not all the time, but things that I have been doing!

Sadie, and Shots

My shots have been fine.
I know how to do them myself now, but I still prefer my mom or my dad to do it, because it is tricky to take it out straight. Sometimes it hurts, but they have been perfectly fine for now.

They haven't really hurt in a while, like in a long while, so that is nice that they don't hurt too much. Also, my cousin Sadie is going to start taking these Genotropin shots too, so I am not alone! I am going to try to be the biggest support I can be, and a big comfort, because I am the only other person that knows how it feels. I don't know when she will start, but when she does, maybe she will start a blog just like her older cousin!

How inspirational!
Well, until the next time..........................

Here are some poll questions that you can answer by commenting to this post. They are just little questions where you pick one of the answers given. They are numbered for your convience........ and mine!

But, here are some questions that you can answer freely.

Any Requests?

If you have any requests of anything that you think I should talk about or anything, please comment to this post, because I want my readers, if I have any, to be interested in what I write. Even though I enjoy writing this blog anyway. Right now, while I am writing this I am listening to the song I'm Yours by Jason Mraz. I like this song but it is a bit slow.

Also, if there are any polls or questions you would like me to ask, or anything you want me to write or talk about, please tell me by commenting.

Thank you so much!!!!

*sigh

I am really annoyed right now.
Hayley, as you know, is one of my babysitters, and India, Hayley, and I were going to play The Game of Life and India and I both wanted to be banker . We both spinned the spinner and I got the highest number both times we spinned. India was so stubborn that Hayley just decided that she was going to be banker which I was sort of OK with because it would be fair, but in a way, it was unfair in every way because I was the one that spinned the highest twice. So, I just decided to walk away. I know we could have talked about it, but I already tried, and I didn't get the answer that I wanted, which doesn't always happen, but same thing, I could have been the banker and we would be playing now, but anyway. You probably don't want to hear about my problems, and minor problems at that, but do you think my idea of walking away was a good one? Please leave your comments below, and I will respond as quickly as possible.

Oh, and guess what? I hear them playing right now!
But, I guess they have the right even though I'm not there right?
Or do you think it is the job of the babysitter to make sure we are both happy and having fun?

Over and Out.

Shwayder

Shwayder is a jewish summer camp that my sister and I go to every year. It will be my 4th year, and India's 2nd. I will be a 2nd year Bet, and India will be a 2nd year Aleph. Those are different age groups that you are in when you go to camp. Luckily, India and I will never be in the same group. You are in each group for 2 years. The groups are Aleph, Bet, Gimmel, and Daled. After you finish Daled, you can become a S-I-T, which is Staff In Training, and after that, a counsler.

It is really fun and I am really excited to go.
I also get to see my best friend from camp, Emily, who lives in Kansas.
So, I am really excited. Also, I will know a lot of people there including Rocky, and Jacki, who are sisters who go to our temple ( like church). Rocky will be an S-I-T, and Jacki will be a counsler. Also, some other boys from our temple, Bobby and William will be there too, and India will be there. So, yeah.

Hopefully, camp will be very enjoyable this year.
Hopefully!!!

Over and Out!

My performance

I take Hip Hop at The Colorado Academy of Music and Dance, the same place India takes guitar lessons. So, we just had a spring dance performance, and it went really well. The only downside was that India got stuck in a locker, but we are not going to talk about that. She is fine, and healthy now, so dropping the subject.............

The dance performance went really well.
All together, including my teacher and myself there are 7 people in my crew. We got matching t-shirts as well that say Got Hip Hop? Krew. I think the krew part brings it down but whatever, I like it all the same. I actually wore it yesterday! I am getting a DVD of the performance, so as long as I know you, or you are a relative, and not a hobo that likes digging through my family's trash can, you can view the video whenever you want.

To wrap it up for now, the performance went really well, and it was fun. I enjoyed myself and I am still taking the hip hop classes where my teacher is starting to teach us breakdancing as well. I think India would enjoy that better than me, but whatever.

Over and out.

AAA

So, the AAA, what is that? Well, I'm going to tell you, so keep your mouth shut. Jimmy, I said shut. Hey, kid, I can still hear you whispering you know. That's better! Jimmy............

OK, now, the AAA stands for the Academic Arts Academy, a program for 6,7, and 8th graders at Eagleview Middle School. I will be a 6th grader next year, and I will be in this program, the AAA, because I got in! You had to audition for it, and I did, and I got it. It is where you express yourself in more ways , than you would regularly, like in regular classes.

I am really excited about being in this program because my mom said it is like TAG ( talented and gifted) which I was in when I was at Rockrimmon ( elementary) with my TAG teacher, Mrs. Suzuki, who had rotator cuff surgery on Tuesday, May 26th, the day before our graduation, so she wasn't at the graduation ceremony, which I was really sad about. So, Mrs. Suzuki, I hope you are fine and healthy, and the surgery went well!

So, yeah!!!

Again, please review, comment, whatever.
So, yeah.
Oh, and please recycle!

Graduation!!!!!!!!!!!

On May 27,2009, I graduated from elementary school ( Rockrimmon Elementary School, to be specific) with a big ceremony and cool stuff like that.

Mrs. Anizelle ( the spanish teacher, who is having her 4th girl over the summer, so she is not coming back next year) gave out awards for this big spanish test that has like 4 parts to it. I only missed 2 questions out of the whole test. In the test, besides answering questions and stuff, we had to write a paragraph, with at least 10 sentences about ourself in spanish. It wasn't actually that hard though!!!

There was also a slideshow on Exhibition, which is this big project 5th graders do every year, where you research a issue worldwide and in Colorado Springs ( that's where I live) and we picked Disease........ and health care. I got put in the group of Diabetes. It was fun-ish, and I got a really good grade! I got to present the Exhibition slideshow with 2 other kids from the 2 other 5th grade classes. It was a good slideshow, and I am glad I got to take part in that.

Also, there is this part where all the kids in 5th grade line up by class, and they get called, and all the teachers that worked with the 5th graders, at all during elementary, who were still there, would come up and shake hands ( or hug) and they would all stand in a line, and you would go down the line one-by-one. It was really sad but I was very happy all the same.

The 5th graders then sang this song on the risers, called Great American Hero, or something like that, and then there was the clapout. The clapout is where all the people in the school at the time ( besides 5th graders) line the halls, and they all clap, while the 5th graders go around the school. It was fun, and then me an Christina, my best friend, went around getting autographs. It was fun and memorable.

Also, Hayley, my babysitter graduated from middle school as well, so congrats to Hayley. Also, she graduated from Eagleview Middle School, where I will be going next year.

So, yeah!
Please comment, review, but no bad things please!!!!!!!
Just nice things, or constructive critism. ( That is the nice way of putting it!)

So, until next time.......................................................................
(which will be in about a minute or two)

Movies

OK, I have seen some pretty cool movies recently.
I have seen Disney Pixar's 3D movie UP, which was really good, and it was in 3D which is a bonus! I have also seen Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, which was amazing as well. It was really good, but had a bit of a stupid plot, but it was really funny, and let me tell you, I woud buy both of these movies on DVD. I would epecially buy Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian because my parents ( thanks, Mom and Dad) have already gotten my sister and me the first one, Night at the Museum, so it would be sort of silly if you had the first, but you didn't have the second. Sometimes if you make a sequel to an already amazing movie, it is a letdown, and the second NATM movie is a bit of a letdown, but mostly a big plus (++). I am also going to see 17 Again today with my babysitter, Emily and my other babysitter ( Emily' younger sister) Hayley, and my sister, India, at the dollar theater. Also, it is Tuesday, so instead of the movies costing like 1 dollar and something cents, it is just 75 cents per person. Isn't that great? Except they aren't new new movies, they are movies that you missed in regular theaters, but haven't come out in DVD and video yet. Cool, huh?

If you have seen 17 Again, please tell me about it or write a review about it, because I hear it is good, but it is also bad. I have no idea, I haven't seen it yet!!!!

You can write reviews about UP and Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian as well. Thank you so much for reading my blog, and have a hopeful day.

(Does that make sense?) Ha Ha.

Sorry Sorry Sorry Sorry Sorry

Sorry (x5) to all my readers in the world out there. I can be totally honest, I forgot about my blog. I really did. I have been caught up in everything else that has been going on recently like summer camp, and graduation, and acceptance, and all those kinds of things. Now, I can't make up all that time because it is June and I haven't written since October, but I am going to, or am going to try to keep up with my blog at least once a week. Now, I have some pretty cool things to tell you about, so this is just the beginning, after the beginning. Sure, that works!
