Dr. Nadeau's appointment

Dr. Nadeau's appointment went really well. We only stayed for about 15 minutes with the doctor, but we spent about 2 hours in the waiting room, which felt like 7 hours.

Fortunately, it wasn't!!!

All we did was measure me and raise my dose from 1.0 to 1.2.
It doesn't make a drastic change in anything. We still put the needle in for 5 seconds.

So, the shots are going well.
Everything is fine.

Thanks to everyone who is commenting. I love to know what you think.

Dr. Nadeau

I am going to see Dr. Neadeau today. ( pronounced Dr. Nado- a is short vowel)

I am sort of nervous, but my mom keeps telling me,

Why should you be, the worst is done!

Dr. Nadeau is a special doctor for growth hormones and she is going to tell me
the official height. I am sort of excited. In a way.

I am not that nervous anymore.

Last time we went, we arrived at 8:00 and left at 11:00.
The wait is strenous!!!!

I will report back in at the end of the day and tell you how it went.

Bye for now, young soldier.

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

long time, no see

School started on August 14.
Now that I have had a sense of what my teacher is like ,I can write on my blog.

My teacher, Miss Tobler is really nice.

I think she's greatly skilled and she is a very intelligent teacher.

I am glad I got Mrs. Tobler.

my shot tonight

I just did my shot like 15 minutes ago, and it hurts still right now A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know why.

My mom did an exellent job, it's just hurt way more tonight.

It is kind of wierd.

Anyway,

I have been doing my shots and all has been pretty well.
Well, not including tonight.

I am going to go now.

Have a wonderful sleep!!!!

I am saying this because it is nighttime right now.

It is about 8:45 where I live right now.

Yea, so good night!

See you in the morning!

direct to dad

Dad,

Today is Tuesday and I am sitting at the computer writing this right now in sorrow and sadness.

You raised your tone with me and defended my sister when you claim you didn't.

You're always away and then come home and spend most of your time in front of the TV.

You do have an exception because it is the Olympics, but still.

You were sitting on the chair downstairs with India and you said it was only meant to fit 2 people. That made me really sad.

I made a picture at art camp 2 years ago of you and me dancing around a huge flower in the center of the painting.

I saw it lying on the ground in your downstairs office where the TV is.

I love you, but sometimes you need to think about what you are saying and think about how it makes a big difference on the people that love you like your older daughter.

Please take the things I just wrote to you into your heart and think about how they impact mine.

Thank you for your time and cooperation.

Please comment.

a message for mom

Dear Mom,

I am sorry that I don't appreciate what you do for me.
You do everything and I always compliment dad for whatever he does and I feel really bad.

I am so sorry and I hope you will forgive me.

You comment on my blog all the time.

Dad never does.
He claimes he tries, but he is always yelling at me and defending my sister,
what can I believe these days?

He doesn't even have time to write and comment about what I say, all the nice things I say about him.

My Daddy

I love my daddy so much and he is always away which really bugs me.

I never get to have fun with him like anyone else.

I wish I could spend quality time with my dad every weekend and every night all the time,
but that is not possible and never will be.

He is always traveling nonstop and when he is not traveling, he is either sleeping or at work.

I really hate that he is always away and I really think that he should stay home and work.

My dad doesn't read or comment on my blog anyway, so it wouldn't make a difference
and none of my readers, if I have any, care either.

If you are having a problem with a family memeber or your dad ,like me, please comment and share with me and I will comment back in the comment section.

I would love to hear your concerns.

Well, I have to go to dinner.
Enough writing for tonight.

Grandparents

Grandparents.

We all have them.

Well, mine are coming to visit and I am soooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a shoutout to my grandparents:

Grandma and Grandpa, O and S:

I am so excited to see you in 9 days!
See you then.

I love you!

Natasha.

BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2nd piercing

Howdy, partner!!!

OK, that was really corny.

Hello everyone!!!!

Well, it's better.
Anyway.

I got 2nd piercings on my ears on August 2nd.

I know that was a long time ago, but I didn't have time, so I am doing it now.

I got my first piercings when I was 6 years old.

Now, I just got my second piericings and I am 10 years old.

I just thought I would mention that.

So, yea!

school

This is a draft that I never posted, and this was at the beginning of the school year. I have not messed with it at all besides writing this mini paragraph. I hope you enjoy. These are my thoughts on school.

School.

School.

WOW!!!

I started school on Thursday, the 14th of last week.

Today was my 4th day of school, 2nd day for the full week.

I am in Miss Tobler's class.
I like her a lot.
She is really nice and I am really glad I have her.

Now, I know that means nothing to you, but whatever.

I started TAG yesterday.

TAG is the class where you get chosen if your grades are high enough to be in special classes where you challenge your mind just a bit more than you would in your regular classroom.

You go to Language Arts ( reading, writing, etc.) and/or Math.
It is for grades 4th and 5th at my school.

I go to Language Arts only.

My TAG teacher is Mrs. Suzuki and she is awesome!!!

All my teachers are awesome!!!!!!

Specifically meaning ( at the moment) ,Mrs. Suzuki and Miss Tobler.

I know it is early to be starting school, but it's fun and I have already met new friends.

See, none of my really close friends are in my class this year.

So, I have resolved the problem and I play and sit with them at lunch and get closer to the other people in my class.
I have become closer with girls named Christina, Corryn, Mariah and tons of other girls. I really like my class.

So, that is all I have to say about school for now!!

See ya! Or not! Probably not!!

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I am in 5th grade.
Yes, 5th grade.

Yea. So, bye!!!!!!!!!!!!

Swim lessons and my dad

I am taking swim lessons for 2 weeks at the local pool.

I am in level 5 and the highest level is 6.

My sister is in level 3.

There are sometimes fun, but being in the older class, we are in the lap lanes.

1. The lap lanes are colder than the other part of the pool.

2. All we really do is swim laps back and forth and back and forth.

But, sometimes they can be fun.
For the most part, they are really easy which is good.
The only stroke I HATE is butterfly.

Now, my dad.
I got back on Sunday like at lunchtime and he left to go away for a week 3 hours later!
Doesn't that suck????? I know!!!!!!

He is coming back Friday night, but I won't get to see him 'til Saturday which really,
really, really, really, really annoyes me.

Then, he will have to leave again on Sunday for a week!

I hate my dad traveling all the time.

I mean, wouln't anybody????

Home

Now, that I am home again, it is going to be a regular thing for me to write on my blog.

So, yea!

ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Camp Nurse

Hey everyone!

I got back from camp the 27th and I have not had a chance to write since I got back, so I am now. I had so much fun at camp. The experience is amazing!

Now, as you know or you don't, but now you do:

I had to do my shots with the camp nurse. Well, actually, 2 camp nurses.

I went for 2 weeks and there was a different nurse for each of the weeks.

First week, there was Nurse Wendy and she was really nice and the shots went great with her.

Then, the second week, there was Nurse Judy who was also so nice and caring.
I sprained my toe the second week and so, Nurse Judy helped me wrap it and stuff and addition, she did the shots every night.

The camp nurses were so nice and sweet. I liked them a lot.

Shots

I know I haven't talking about my shots lately. I am sorry.

There are just so many other topics and stuff.
As I said in a previous post, I am going away to Summer camp on Monday and I will be doing my shots with the camp nurse. I amhai sort of nervous for that, but my shots have been good.
They haven't hurt that terribly.

Well, I have to go.

Also, I get a haircut today.

Well, see ya! Or not!

Summer camp

Sorry, guys! I have been really busy packing!
You know my last post? It was about my sister, India going to camp.
Well, I will be going to the same camp n Monday for 2 weeks.
Have you guys heard of it?
It's called Shwayder and it is on Mt. Evans by Idaho Springs.

I am really excited for camp, but at the same time I feel scared because I am going to be doing my shots with the camp nurse and I haven't even met the person!
Do you guys have any advice for me?

I know everything will be fine, but still, doing my shots with a complete stranger????????

Help me out!
Please comment!
Soon!
Only 2 more days left!

India

India is my sister. She is 7 years old and is going into second grade.
Right now, she is at summer camp called Shwayder up in Mt. Evans here in Colorado.
Usually, you can only go when starting 3rd grade, but they changed the rules and now my sister is at camp.It is so lonely and quiet in the house all the time now.
It's kind of creepy!

Stay tuned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My shots

I don't even know what day it is on my shots.
They are really easy.
Well, so yeah!

Bye.

Cavities

Here are 4 words describing Cavities. Awful. Terrible. Totally dreadful.

Here are 4 words describing me. Amazingly talented. Unique. Athletic.

Total oppostites, right?

Well, I had to get 4 fillings and 2 cavities today. Don't get the wrong impression! I take great care of my teeth. I brush twice a day and that is the first cavity I've ever gotten!

So, kids: REMEMBER TO BRUSH YOUR TEETH AND STAY IN SCHOOL.
TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR TEETH!!!!!! BECAUSE IT HURTS!
A LOT! TRUST ME!
I have been there and done that!
I am experienced. Proffesional.

Oh, right! Well, anyway.................BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My camping trip

My camping trip was awesome. Thank you guys to all my fans for waiting.
When I got back from my trip I slept for a whole day because of jet lag. I am still working on getting to bed at night. My camping trip was really fun. We made s'mores, went on hikes, and even saw a dog sled demo! It was all really fun! Oh, and we actually slept in a tent!
Some people call sleeping on a bed in an RV camping, but I think that is ridiculous!
So get it in your head! CAMPING IS SLEEPING IN A TENT!!!!!!!!!!

I will regularly be checking in now on my blog officially NOW!

Sunday, June 8, 2008

OK, OK don't blame me!!!!

OK, don't bug me or come pounding on my door or anything because I have been busy, and I know all my adoring fans love me and would love to here from me, but I have been very busy; I will explain it all it now:
Right now, I am in Alaska because my cousin, Jacob had a bar-mitvah.

A bar mitvah or bat mitvah for girls is a celebration for a jewish child when they are 13 years old. They have to study hebrew for a long time and then, all their hard work comes out in 1 day, and then after there is a big celebration. I will explain more of that later.
OK, I am going to Denali National Park and I won't have the PC I am typing on right now, so I won't be able to write on my blog, but after that I will start typing away again like I did in the old days. Don't worry!! I will be camping for about 3 or 4 days.

Also, my shots have been very good. They are pretty easy. I am getting pretty good at it, if you ask me and so is my mom! There is also a BIG bonus also for going camping:

THE PEN SHOT THING WON'T BE ABLE TO BE REFRIGERATED SO..................................
... I WON'T HAVE TO DO MY SHOT FOR A FEW DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I am wrapping it up!
Bye!

The Broadmoor

I went to The Broadmoor ( a really really elegant hotel w/ restraunts and stuff ) for dinner at thr Charles Court. It was so cool. I have never been some where that nice and fancy. It must have been very expensive. It was a fun night and I really enjoyed it!

Mom and Dad, Thanks for taking me there! It was awesome!

A month

Tonight is the night it will have been a month! WOW! Isn't that suprising????
It's gone so quickly! And my shots barely hurt anymore! except for last night

Friday, May 16, 2008

To Mom

Okay, the last post I wrote wasn't all true. I have to be honest with you readers out there.

My mom is the person that does my shot and it didn't hurt any where as near as bad as the one my dad did not saying that the one my dad did hurt a lot. It barely hurt at all which means that my mom wouldn't have hurt at all.

So, Mom.......... I'm sorry. What I said wasn't all true. You are really the only person that actually does my shot. I love you I should have said that you were special and you were neat, but I didn't THEN, but now I am. So, yea.

For Dad

I love you Dad.

If you have anything to say, write a comment.

Maybe a joke or a funny story would cheer me up from my gloominess!

But,Dad I mostly wrote this post, so you could actualy listen and here what I am trying to tell you!!!!!!!!!! Dad please write a comment.

My dad did my shot last night

My daddy did my shot last night. I can admit that I was a bit nervous at first, but my mom had to go to a meeting tonight, so my dad did it for the second time and you know, it hurt less when my dad did it then when my mom did it, but it's still really easy either way.

So, just a shotout to my dad out there:

Daddy, I love you and I need to thank you for being there for me.
I really appreciate that.
I love you.

My last track meet

My last track meet was fun. I ran an 8 minute 45 second mile. Isn't that pretty good????
I thought so. My dad is taking me out to ice cream this week, so that's kind of cool and because I have been doing these shots, my mom and dad are taking me out to the Broadmoor for dinner. I am so excited!

Bye!!!!!

Mother's Day and my uncle Stevie

My Uncle Stevie came on Friday. He is gone now, but when he was here, I had the most glorious time with him. He was here fo Mother's day, so we did all of my moms favorite things to do, while showing my uncle around at the same time!!!

We went up to Manitou Springs and went to breakfast. We also walked around and went to the arcade and the candy store. After that we went to Garden of the Gods and the Broadmoor.

It was a really fun day and I hope you had a really good Mother's Day too!

My shots lately

My shots lately have been pretty nice. 'Well, they haven't hurt as much, so that's good. But, no problem or anything except my mom has to order a new pen thing because she called and they thought there was a problem with it, so they are sending us a new one, whoever "they" are. Probably the people who work for Genotropin. But, that's just my guess.

My 15th shot

My 13th shot was good. It was is in my butt. When my mom put the needle in, I was so distracted by something that I didn't feel the needle go in. I heard my mom say, " There, you're done" and I'm just like "huh". Well, it's been 2 weeks and 1 day.

Wow, these days go quickly!

Oooooh, I'm sooo excited!

I am so excited! Guess why I'm so excited!!!! Guess! Guess! Well, I'll tell you anyway.
Okay, well it is Wednesday. Tomorrow will be Thursday and the day after that will be Friday.

Tomorrow which is Thursday, I have the usual Landshark practice ( oh, and by the way I had my second race, did great, as expected of course) and then after that I will be going to Sheketak ( not sure if that's the right spelling). Sheketak is is israeli dancing with drums and music incorperated into all the fun! I think it will be really awesome. It's up in Denver.

Then, after that on Friday, I have World Tour Day! World Tour Day is an event where all the parents and teachers who know a lot about a certain country share that information with the students by decorating a classroom and providing fun activities and food for the children. There's usally a craft or two and you maybe watch a movie. The teacher or parent tells you the country you are visiting and some cool facts about where you are. We have 2 assemblies and at the assemblies you have entertainment including a belly dancer, a guy with bag pipes, and african drummers. It's different every year depending on who they can get.I'm soooo excited! You get a passport which lists the two countries you will be going to. Before that a few weeks before the event, you get a list of all the countries that are being presented and you pick your top 5. After that, the PTO ( parents who help out at the school a lot) decide which places you will be going to that year. It is a tradition we have at my school once every year.

Now, you can share the excitment with me!!!!!!!

Hey Everyone!
Sorry I haven't been checking in with my blog. I've been sooooo busy!!! My recent shots have gone really well. They didn't hurt at all. Well, maybe just a tiny tiny, tiny bit. I've ordered covers for my " pen". You can order all sorts of designs like soccer players to hearts to kittens to just solid colors. I'm really excited to get them in the mail. Oooooh, I hope they arrive soon!

My 7th shot

My shot today was good. It was was quick, simple, and very easy like 1-2-3!!!!! It was in the leg this time. I am supposed to be switching off places to do the shot, but the stomach still scares me. I mean, who would want to get a shot in their stomach? NOT ME!!!! Butt is okay after you get use to it and leg, well you know how easy that is. I used to be afraid whenever I went to the doctor's office that I would get a shot. Now they say that, I will be like " Fine with me, lets do this!".I wouldn't wine or wimper. I would just be cool about the whole process.

The track meet

The track meet was great. I think I ran better than I ever have before! I ran a 3:45 second half-mile. Isn't that pretty good? I felt awesome, but now I think I'm getting a cold!

Thanks for everything

All blog readers,
Thank you so much to all the kind words you have all said about everything. It has helped me through hard times. Your encouraging words help me stay strong and believe in myself so all I can say is:

Thanks.

My track meet

My track meet is tomorow. I am sooo excited! It is middle distance night and I can either run 2 laps ( half a mile) or 4 laps ( 1 mile). I think I am going to do 2 first, and then make my way up to 4. There are 2 middle disance nights. I am sort of nervous, but I know I will do awesome because I have the coolest coaches, Coach Stephanie, Coach Debby ( my mom!), and Coach Lynne They train me really hard and now I feel like I can take on anything!
Bring it on!

Pursuit of Happyness

Pursuit of Happyness is such a great movie. It's starring Will Smith and his son, Jayden. It is soooo sad. I feel so bad even though it is just a movie. I would never want to sleep in the bathroom at the subway station or give blood for money. The story was a very, very, sad, touching, inspirational story.

It teaches you that you just have to believe in yourself, be modiavated, be strong and don't lose faith or hope because it is not going to do you any good AT ALL!

The movie was amazing, fantastic, marvelous, fabulous. awesome, cool, and totally teriffic!
It is soooo going on my favorites list!

Pursuit of Happyness

I loved the movie, Pursuit of Happyness. It was soooo sad.I would never want to end up having to sleep in the bathroom at the subway station or give blood for money. I feel bad. It was a very, very, very sad story. It is now one of my favorite movies of all time.

I am soooo adding it to my favorites!

My 6th shot

When you inject your shot, you have three places you can inject. You can inject in your stomach, your butt, or your leg. I have been switching off between my two legs, but tonight ( don't laugh) I did it in my butt. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it was going to. It was a bit scary doing it in my butt though. I'm alive though and perfectly fine. Don't cry, don't cry, I am fine, don't worry.

My Schedule

Hey, it's me again!
Today I have Sunday school! I know I know, you might wonder ,"Who goes to school on Sundays?????" OBVIOUSLY, ME! Today I also get to go to Starbucks with my dad. It is kind of a special thing we do every Sunday or Saturday. I mean, Saturday or Sunday. I want to go miniature golfing, but that's not literally in my agenda. I love mini golf! Note when I say MINI golf. Regular golf, one word, BORING!

My 5th shot

My 5th shot today was really good. It wasn't the happiest, joyful thing in the world, but it wasn't the gloomiest. My dad came home today ( he was gone for the week) and when he was here doing the shots with me, it made me feel soo much better. I didn't use the needle guard. I covered my eyes with my blanket and I was perfectly fine. It didn't hurt a bit, well just a tad. Tonight, I was really confident and I did good. After these shots, I am ready to take on new challenges. Face the world and not be a wimp.
Bye for now!

P.S. I got cute fairy waterproof band- aids, so I can look stylish and fashionable while covering up my shot at the same time!

My dad came home!!

My dad came home today. He was away for a week and he finally came home. Yea!!!!!! I am not as gloomy or sad anymore. Don't worry, this will not be the last time you will hear from me tonight. I will report back after the 5th shot. I am watching a movie called " The Pursuit of Happiness", so I will be doing my shot early tonight.
Adias, Troops!

P.S. Tell me what you think of the movie. I will write my opinion later!

Just stuff

WOW! A good night of rest is always helpful.  Today, I feel great. I got to watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and hang out with my little cat , Matilda who's 11 months.  I am currently reading the Harry Potter series for the second time. Today will be my 5th night with taking Genotropin. I am pretty confident about tonight.
I will post how the shot went later. You will hear from me then!

About my 4th shot

My 4th shot today wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Now, you can use a needle guard to cover up the needle when you do the shot or not and today was my first day not using it. I covered my eyes with my blanket and everything was fine. I felt the needle, but it felt like someone gently poked me. I barely felt it! Now, I have to get ready for bed, so I will check back in tomorrow.
See you then, blog viewers!

My third post!!!!!!!!!

Now, I have been taking these shots, as you know and they haven't been pleasant. Tonight is the 4th night as I mentioned earlier. I will catch with you later maybe and tell you how my 4th shot went. I will be checking my blog every morning at least ( I hope), so I will keep you posted every morning. See you then!

I'm back!!!!!

Hi, this is me for real this time.

Now, I have been taking Genotropin. Genotropin is a pen where you give yourself (or your mom can help you like my mom does) a shot. Many kids take them for lots of reasons. I take them because I am not growing enough. I don't really like to take them, but you got to do what you got to do. I sometimes feel sad because I am not as tall as the other kids or because I am short, but not often.

This is my 4th day with taking Genotropin. I haven't seen much of growth since I started taking them. I know they will help me grow though. I have to take them once every day. I take them around the same time every day (around 5:00 to 8:00) just in case.

When my mom starts to get the pen ready (where the needle is hidden), I prepare myself by staying calm and not working myself up for something that I don't need to get worked up for. I get my blanket or my stuffed cow to hold, a band aid to put over the shot when we're done and an ice pack to take away the pain if it hurts after. You can also use the ice pack to numb where you're going to get the shot, but I feel that you don't need it because wherever you got the shot starts to hurt after because if the numbness from the cold.

Now, I am only a 4th grader and I have to get ready for school, so I can't stay online forever. I will catch with you later after school.

My first post

Hi. I'm Genogirl. But you can also call me Oatmeal Cookie 63. Okay, my  mom is actually writing this right now because I have to go to bed. So I'll start writing for myself later.
