My 7th shot

My shot today was good. It was was quick, simple, and very easy like 1-2-3!!!!! It was in the leg this time. I am supposed to be switching off places to do the shot, but the stomach still scares me. I mean, who would want to get a shot in their stomach? NOT ME!!!! Butt is okay after you get use to it and leg, well you know how easy that is. I used to be afraid whenever I went to the doctor's office that I would get a shot. Now they say that, I will be like " Fine with me, lets do this!".I wouldn't wine or wimper. I would just be cool about the whole process.

The track meet

The track meet was great. I think I ran better than I ever have before! I ran a 3:45 second half-mile. Isn't that pretty good? I felt awesome, but now I think I'm getting a cold!

Thanks for everything

All blog readers,
Thank you so much to all the kind words you have all said about everything. It has helped me through hard times. Your encouraging words help me stay strong and believe in myself so all I can say is:

Thanks.

My track meet

My track meet is tomorow. I am sooo excited! It is middle distance night and I can either run 2 laps ( half a mile) or 4 laps ( 1 mile). I think I am going to do 2 first, and then make my way up to 4. There are 2 middle disance nights. I am sort of nervous, but I know I will do awesome because I have the coolest coaches, Coach Stephanie, Coach Debby ( my mom!), and Coach Lynne They train me really hard and now I feel like I can take on anything!
Bring it on!

Pursuit of Happyness

Pursuit of Happyness is such a great movie. It's starring Will Smith and his son, Jayden. It is soooo sad. I feel so bad even though it is just a movie. I would never want to sleep in the bathroom at the subway station or give blood for money. The story was a very, very, sad, touching, inspirational story.

It teaches you that you just have to believe in yourself, be modiavated, be strong and don't lose faith or hope because it is not going to do you any good AT ALL!

The movie was amazing, fantastic, marvelous, fabulous. awesome, cool, and totally teriffic!
It is soooo going on my favorites list!

Pursuit of Happyness

I loved the movie, Pursuit of Happyness. It was soooo sad.I would never want to end up having to sleep in the bathroom at the subway station or give blood for money. I feel bad. It was a very, very, very sad story. It is now one of my favorite movies of all time.

I am soooo adding it to my favorites!

My 6th shot

When you inject your shot, you have three places you can inject. You can inject in your stomach, your butt, or your leg. I have been switching off between my two legs, but tonight ( don't laugh) I did it in my butt. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it was going to. It was a bit scary doing it in my butt though. I'm alive though and perfectly fine. Don't cry, don't cry, I am fine, don't worry.

My Schedule

Hey, it's me again!
Today I have Sunday school! I know I know, you might wonder ,"Who goes to school on Sundays?????" OBVIOUSLY, ME! Today I also get to go to Starbucks with my dad. It is kind of a special thing we do every Sunday or Saturday. I mean, Saturday or Sunday. I want to go miniature golfing, but that's not literally in my agenda. I love mini golf! Note when I say MINI golf. Regular golf, one word, BORING!

My 5th shot

My 5th shot today was really good. It wasn't the happiest, joyful thing in the world, but it wasn't the gloomiest. My dad came home today ( he was gone for the week) and when he was here doing the shots with me, it made me feel soo much better. I didn't use the needle guard. I covered my eyes with my blanket and I was perfectly fine. It didn't hurt a bit, well just a tad. Tonight, I was really confident and I did good. After these shots, I am ready to take on new challenges. Face the world and not be a wimp.
Bye for now!

P.S. I got cute fairy waterproof band- aids, so I can look stylish and fashionable while covering up my shot at the same time!

My dad came home!!

My dad came home today. He was away for a week and he finally came home. Yea!!!!!! I am not as gloomy or sad anymore. Don't worry, this will not be the last time you will hear from me tonight. I will report back after the 5th shot. I am watching a movie called " The Pursuit of Happiness", so I will be doing my shot early tonight.
Adias, Troops!

P.S. Tell me what you think of the movie. I will write my opinion later!

Just stuff

WOW! A good night of rest is always helpful.  Today, I feel great. I got to watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and hang out with my little cat , Matilda who's 11 months.  I am currently reading the Harry Potter series for the second time. Today will be my 5th night with taking Genotropin. I am pretty confident about tonight.
I will post how the shot went later. You will hear from me then!

About my 4th shot

My 4th shot today wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Now, you can use a needle guard to cover up the needle when you do the shot or not and today was my first day not using it. I covered my eyes with my blanket and everything was fine. I felt the needle, but it felt like someone gently poked me. I barely felt it! Now, I have to get ready for bed, so I will check back in tomorrow.
See you then, blog viewers!

My third post!!!!!!!!!

Now, I have been taking these shots, as you know and they haven't been pleasant. Tonight is the 4th night as I mentioned earlier. I will catch with you later maybe and tell you how my 4th shot went. I will be checking my blog every morning at least ( I hope), so I will keep you posted every morning. See you then!

I'm back!!!!!

Hi, this is me for real this time.

Now, I have been taking Genotropin. Genotropin is a pen where you give yourself (or your mom can help you like my mom does) a shot. Many kids take them for lots of reasons. I take them because I am not growing enough. I don't really like to take them, but you got to do what you got to do. I sometimes feel sad because I am not as tall as the other kids or because I am short, but not often.

This is my 4th day with taking Genotropin. I haven't seen much of growth since I started taking them. I know they will help me grow though. I have to take them once every day. I take them around the same time every day (around 5:00 to 8:00) just in case.

When my mom starts to get the pen ready (where the needle is hidden), I prepare myself by staying calm and not working myself up for something that I don't need to get worked up for. I get my blanket or my stuffed cow to hold, a band aid to put over the shot when we're done and an ice pack to take away the pain if it hurts after. You can also use the ice pack to numb where you're going to get the shot, but I feel that you don't need it because wherever you got the shot starts to hurt after because if the numbness from the cold.

Now, I am only a 4th grader and I have to get ready for school, so I can't stay online forever. I will catch with you later after school.
