it is only minor surgery -plus- which cast color is the best?

guess what is happening on monday?
i am now getting surgery monday morning and they may or may not put plates in my arm.
for now, i still have the splint.

after the surgery- i am getting a long arm cast for 3 weeks and then i will switch to a short arm cast. the difference is that the long arm cast goes past mt elbow. also, i am writing this all with 1-2 fingers.

i am allowed for 2 cast colors, 1 for each cast.
there is red, orange, yellow, blue, green, pink, purple, turquoise, and i think that is it.
which 2 colors should i get?
your opinions will help, but i will conclude the final decision.
thanks, and i thought you should know.

Aaaaaaah, frustrating

Hey guys. My grandparents are here in Colorado, and we want to do something fun and exciting, presumaby up in Denver and I have been looking except nothing jumps out. We could go to an art museum that we have been to about 4 dozen times, or we could go to the children's museum but it is basically to babyish for us now. We can't go to a water park or an amusement park because my grandparents wouldn't like that and it is a bit colder than other days. Also, there are no other good or cool museums I could find. I will just wait and see. I wish I were in Atlanta right now for the...Coca-Cola museum!

This is my last post

Alright, I have decided that this is my last post until I get back from camp.
So, send me letters or emails if you are in my family, and thank you so much for supporting me and reading my blog, and being such awesome readers. Genogirl loves you all!

NOW ( well technically tomorrow, but.....) I AM OFF TO CAMP!

Some little cool things about Shwayder

Here is our Jewish summer camp logo, and the person is our camp director, Zim Zimmerman. I don't know if that is his real name, but he is awesome, and cool, and hip, and athletic, and right there, that is not the best picture of him, but, whatever.
I think this is the Shwayder saying:
A Summer To Build Your Life On.
Also, something I forgot to mention is that it is a tradition in our family to go to Whole Foods to eat lunch the day you go to Shwayder, so if you want to join in for the day, go to Whole Foods on Monday, July 13th, 2009, and then tell me in the comments if you did or not!
That is so cool!
So, please, go to Whole Foods tomorrow, Monday, July 13,2009.
-Genogirl.

~~~~~~~
Alright, I am here. It is Sunday evening, 6:02 to be exact, and my stomach has butterflies.
It will probably be churning by tomorrow!
\
Now here is some about Shwayder, the Jewish sleepaway summer camp I will be going to with India for 2 weeks TOMORROW!
I am pretty excited but nervous at the same time.
I have a best friend from Kansas named Emily coming too, so I am very happy. We met 2 years ago at Shwayder ( the sleepaway summer camp).
We are having homemade pizza for dinner, my choice and idea.
Now here are some words, written by Genogirl ( me) said directly by Genoboy ( India, my sister) and here are some words about camp and how she feels about camp, about making friends, leaving home for 2 weeks, etc. etc:
"I feel, about camp is that, um, it is great, but I am a little scared, but it is great to be going to camp for 2 weeks. Making friends is so fun cause I get, I get to meet a lot new people and I get to see some old people and say hi. It is not weird at all to leave home even if I was there for 1 week last year and now I am going for 2 weeks. I am still not scared leaving home. Last year, I slept on the top bed of a bunk bed, and I think I will want to go on the bottom or the top bunk, but I don't know. I will have to look in my bunk and see what if there is any open for me to take."
Also, India wants to remind you that she has a blog at:
www. genoboygrowson.blogspot.com
Thanks!
Leave some comments if YOU have been to summer camp or have a question or comment about the summer camp that I am going to! I might be able to answer or write a post later today or tomorrow morning, but I am in need to take a shower in the morning, and eat breakfast, and we are leaving by 9:00 so maybe, but I will especially write after I am home from camp.
Alright, My Last Post ( For Now) Might Be This.....
OK, my last post wasn't my last post, but this probably is, but if it isn't, you have more to remember me by! Not as if I am leaving forever or anything, just 14 days.
Alright, so remember to read, and comment, and enjoy my blog.
Please vote on the poll to the left, and read my side posts and everything cool to offer about my blog. I try hard, you know.
Please follow my blog, and tell your friends, so me and you can expand this blog together.
I will continue to write, not including the 2 weeks I am gone, and I will try my best, and bring on the best that I can bring to my blog.
Thank you, and tell your friends!
-Genogirl
I am Off!
This is probably the last post from me until I get back from camp.
Camp is a go, except if anyone in your cabin gets the flu, you have to take a pill.
But, I would rather take a pill than not go!
Please don't get mad that I will not respond to comments, or anything, and please do not stop reading my blog. I love you all, and I really don't want you guys to miss out!
I hope you guys have a fabulous 2 weeks without me!
P.S. Please go to my sister's blog too.
Maybe.
Shots in the Infirmary
I am getting ready to do my shot at the infirmary every night.
Yep, the camp nurse will put a needle into my leg every night.
Weird, huh? I did my shots at camp last year, and it was fine, so I think it will be fine this time as well. My cousin Sadie takes these shots as well, so I want to say, Go Sadie!
Sadie is the only one that can relate to me and how I feel and what I feel every night.
So, again, Go Sadie, and not to be mean to her sister, Dahlia, because Dahlia is so spectacular too, so Go Dahlia, and again, Go Dahlia!
Go everyone!
Also, my family might be going to the rodeo tonight! I love the rodeo!
Go Rodeo!
My head!
Right now, I am supposed to be getting ready for my hip hop dance, but I felt an urge to tell my readers how my head is feeling REALLY BAD RIGHT NOW!!!!!
But, hopefully I will prevail. It is 5:41. My lession is at 7:00. I have time!
Shwayder Camp, as we know
Camp is on, as far as we know, so we are expecting to go to camp on Monday.
Did you hear that? MONDAY.
We will be gone for 2 weeks, so please wait patiently for us to return and tell about our adventures. You can read any of my earlier posts, and/or comment and/or vote on the poll. o, there is plenty to do while I am gone. Sorry for the sad faces.
Guess what? OK, well you don't actually have to guess, because I am going to tell you anyway.
I started packing for camp yesterday. This morning, Mom went over my stuff with me, and she is going to start labeling when she has time.
Also, over the weekend we will be busy and up in Boulder for a triathalon for my dad.
If you are wondering, if you are wondering, my dad is doing his 2nd Ironman in 2 years.
Why am I telling you this? To make my dad look awesome, but also to inform you that I may or may not have computer access and therefore might not get to post anything until after I get back. Sorry everyone!
Now, get away from your computer and do something else. That's right. Go. Go.
But this is not saying not to read my blog. Become a follower! OK, now go.
Look Here! Look Here!
Here are some fun silly pictures of India, Dad, and me!
Mom took the pictures. Great job, Mom!!!
Notice the matching outfits? India and I have the same shorts in a different color, and the same pajama top in different colors, and our outfits ended up being opposites! It was funny!
Keep Voting!
Thank you all, so very very much for voting on where you would want to travel.
Right now, Mumbai is winning, but you have about 20 days left, so keep voting!
Please vote only once a day.
Thank you for your cooperation.
4th of July Fun
Hey guys. I hope your 4th of July was great, because mine was!
There are some pictures of the parade that we have, but they are still on the camera, and have not transferred over yet, but I will be happy to post those when we get them.
We went to Breckenridge for the 4th of July, and it was PACKED but it was really fun. The parade was awesome with amazing floats, and lots of candy and fun things to watch. It started raining and it was pouring for a little bit, but mostly drizzling or mildly raining. It was really fun though. Later in the evening, we had a delicious dinner and then went into the hot tub and we watched the fireworks. Good thing it wasn't raining!
Tell me how your 4th of July was!
Please comment.
Shwayder Visiting Day 2008
These are some pictures of Shwayder Visiting Day last year, 2008. I love Shwayder, and so does India. Last year, it was India's first time, so we made sure to epecially go, but we also went this year because we love it so much! It will be my 4th time and India's 2nd.
2008 4th of July Parade
Here are a few pictures of India, and Natasha,
( me!) up in Breckenridge last year, 2008 for the
4th of July Parade.
Again, a few pix of India and I at the 2008 4th of July parade up in Breck.
Peace
Peace out, Brotha!
Happy 4th of July!
I will be going up to Breckenridge for the 4th of July tonight, and I may or may not have time or the computer to write on my blog, so I woul like to say now, just in case:
Happy 4th of July!
I hope your July 4th celebrations will be fun and happy.
I am going up to Breck with my sister, my dad, and my mom, and my mom's cousin and his wife, Ari and Buffy who are coming on July 3rd to come celebrate and see us, but to also enjoy the Colorado wildlife and surroundings. In Breck, there is a 4th of July parade which is killer, but remember to wear a lot of red, white, and blue, and if you are a kid, or you have kids, bring bags, for candy of course!
So, again, have an amazing 4th of July!
Be a Follower and/or a Friend!
